List of 2010's Best and Worst Credit Cards
By: TaoCredit Staff Published: January 24, 2011
According to TaoCredit.com, the PenFed Platinum Visa card is among the highest ranked credit cards available for 2010.
TaoCredit.com has recently released what they believe to be a list of best and worst credit cards in 2010. The credit card comparison site scored available credit cards on the basis of high interest rates, fees, and a lack of disclosures. Desirable cards were those showing value, good service, and convenience.
One of the cards nominated for being the worst credit card of 2010 was the First Premier MasterCard. With an astonishing APR of 79.99%, it had the honor of being the highest interest rate card for the year. Another card, which saw a bit of skepticism, was the short-lived prepaid debit card endorsed by the Kardashians. This was reported to be the most hated card of the year.
Both the PenFed Visa Platinum Cashback Rewards card and the Fidelity Investment Rewards American Express were rated the best cards in the cash back category. Additionally, the Capital One Venture Rewards credit card and PenFed Premium Travel Rewards American Express card were ranked the top in the travel and airline credit card category.
In the meantime, the Discover More card and the Citi Platinum Select MasterCard were referred to as the best low introductory rate credit card. The title of the best low interest rate cards goes to Simons Visa Platinum and the PenFed Promise Visa.
TaoCredit.com awards the best reward point credit card to Zync from American Express and the Chase Sapphire card.
